Description
Northwestern Mutual, a leader in the financial services industry is currently hiring for a full time recruiter/ Director of Selection. This individual will be responsible for the identification and selection of all full time financial representatives for our Southern New England Group office.
The ideal candidate will have recruitment experience in the financial services industry including the identification of candidates, strong interviewing skills and an attention to detail. This position will also entail attending local community networking events on behalf of the office to promote and market our opportunities to others. This is not an M-F 1st shift only, since some of these networking events are early mornings or “after hours".
In this role you will also be responsible for all of the contracting and licensing of our interns and full time representatives, so strong administrative skills and detail to follow through are a must. Must have great communication skills and an outgoing demeanor and be considered a “people person".
Interested candidates MUST meet the following criteria in order for consideration:
1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
2. Minimum of 3-5 years recruiting experience
3. Reliable transportation since some of the work is out of the office
4. The ability to work a flexible schedule.
