Requirements
· Graduation from an accredited COTA training program, as well as certification by the American Occupational therapy Certification Board and registration from the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation are required.
· Previous experience in a Department of Psychiatry is highly desirable
· The physical demand level and degree of strenuous activity ranges from some sedentary work with a certain amount of walking and standing to frequent very heavy work involving lifting up to and in excess of 100 pounds of force and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move object. Inability to perform the physical requirements of this position would pose a significant if not direct threat to the operations of the department.
Flexibility and creativity in executing treatment in any Occupational Therapy programs.
