Description
Our client, a a leading fabricator for the oil and gas industry, currently has
12 openings for the following position:
- Estimator/MTO (Material Take off) Tech
Our client works in the construction of offshore oil and gas structures and large structural steel components. They specialize in massive and complex steel erection, using state-of-the-art facilities and methods.
Requirements
To be considered for these positions, you must have the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1+ year experience in Estimating/Material Take off
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and calculate amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, volume, circumference
- Verifiable work
Computer skills:·
- Knowledge of database software, spreadsheets, and work processing software
- Microsoft Access experience a +
Qualified candidates must have good communication skills, minimum of 3 months of verifiable working experience within the past 6 months, and have reliable transportation. Pre-employment criminal background checks will be done prior to placement.
