Director of Gateways

Description

Provide vision, leadership, management and administrative direction to all staff in the Gateways Program on the Pleasantville Campus.  Ensure that the quality programming and services are maintained to meet the physical, social, developmental, and permanency planning needs of young women who have experienced commercial and/or ‘trafficked’ sexual exploitation.

 

Direct supervision, development and evaluation of all clinical, milieu and recreation staff assigned to the cottage. Oversight of all clinical and medical services for program participants. Provide quality treatment and services to children and families. This function includes planning, monitoring, evaluating and coordinating services and resources. Create and oversee a dispositional process for reviewing permanency plans. Responsible for community relations in the immediate community (local neighborhood), the professional community and with the general public. Overall responsibility for the selection and termination of staff, in consultation with supervisor and Human Resources. Responsible for ongoing maintenance of and caring for the physical plant in conjunction with the V.P of Business Affairs. Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with ACS, New York State, funders, service providers, other agency personnel including the Campus, business office, Human Resources, Research, QI and campus-based Union Free School District as well as other agencies

Requirements

• LCSW, PhD or advanced degree with applicable experience.

 

• New York State License for Social Work or Psychology. Track record of implementing new programs.

 

• Demonstrated record of progressively responsible experience with commercially sexually exploited and/or ‘trafficked’ population preferred, with a minimum of 5 years related experience required.
