Product Technology Development Manager

Candidates must possess the following to apply.

1. PHD or Masters Degree Mandatory,   in Materials Science, Polymers or Chemical

2. 5 years experience as a Manager of product development and research with direct reports.

3. Experience Developing, Testing, Scale-Up and commercialization of new products, with stage gate development process.

4. Experience with polymers and processing polymers,  Packaging Development, any bio-renewable or sustainable product development is a plus

5. Demonstrated Accomplishments and promotion in career history.

6. Successful and Stable past career history within the polymer industry.

7. Demonstrated leadership accomplishments developing associates reporting to them in a team based environment.

8. Applicants for employment in the United States must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa

The selected Manager will have a wide array of responsibilities to develop, scale-up, testing,  and commercialize new products and technology within the sheet extruded packaging market.

They will be leading multiple projects and managing the development processes, teams, new product introductions, quality, performance, and resources within the department.  The individual will be responsible for identifying new markets, applications, trends, and novel technologies to quickly develop and commercialize new products.  The individual will improve existing products, assess the strengths and weaknesses of competitors, ensure proper support for all technical issues pertaining to the transfer of new technology to manufacturing, responsible for providing process equipment and procedure expertise for existing and future requirements, and directly managing Research / Development employees within material development and product scale up departments.

This is a fast paced highly creative environment and requires an individual from a similar environment and able to manage many projects simultaneously.
