Touching lives with healing and hope - it's the end result of our efforts at Talecris Plasma Resources, a division of Talecris Biotherapeutics. We have rewarding opportunities available for Phlebotomists at our Albany Plasma Donor Center.
In this entry level position, you will work under close supervision to learn phlebotomy for plasma collection. Your responsibilities will include determining donor suitability; monitoring donors/equipment to ensure health/safety; performing set-up and clean-up duties; calibrating/maintaining machines; documentation; and maintaining familiarity/compliance with state/federal regulations. Your customer service skills will assist you in building rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction and support long-term donation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR certification and phlebotomy certification with healthcare experience preferred. Strong customer service skills are essential.
