Description
Responsible, under the direction of the Property Manager, for all phases of the property operations, and to act in that capacity in the absence of the Property Manager.
Monitor and direct rental activity, all on-site marketing activities, and maintain an in-depth, ongoing knowledge of the associated market.
Also responsible for maintaining the company standards on performance of maintenance functions, both in occupied and vacant apartments, and for compliance with scheduling and monitoring preparation for market ready units.
Assist in timely collection of rents, banking activities, documentation of all transactions, preparation of collection documents and court appearances.
Primarily responsible for administrative functions and the correct and timely preparation of all reporting documentation
Managing administration of property operations and leasing office.
Providing a quality living environment for residents and positive work environment for team members
Requirements
High School diploma.
Some college preferred. Minimum 1-2 yrs direct experience or 1-3 yrs related experience. Knowledge of office systems and equipment, basic bookkeeping. Basic computer skills preferable.
Some staff supervision experience, 1 yr preferred; tax credit and sales experience.
Proven track record of success with the leasing process
Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates and other legal issues affecting property management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with residents and customers in a professional manner
Able to pass a criminal background check as well as a drug test
