Description

Medical Assistant Lead Instructor

Responsibilities:

Maintain a full time teaching load of between 28-30 hours
Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided to assure that course content and objectives are met.
Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate student’s learning styles.
Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of the course objectives as identified in the syllabus.
Be available to advise students (office hours), tutor and provide other assistance as needed.
Work with the Program Director to resolve student concerns.
Actively work to maintain retention in all classes.
Attend regularly scheduled program meetings, faculty in-service workshops and faculty meetings.

Requirements

Medical Assistant Lead Instructor

Must have certification and post-secondary training in discipline and minimum 3 years of recent, practical experience.

Bachelor’s degree is preferred and the undergraduate degree must include a minimum of 18 semester credits in the discipline.
