Description With the success of their first product, a molecular diagnostics company is looking to add to their growing team. This company is growing quickly to seize on opportunities arising from the continued development of their proprietary technology. This position would assist in the development of a molecular diagnostics platform stemming from this technology.

This position will be responsible for participating in molecular assay development studies including experimental setup and data analysis. These studies will contribute to the evaluation of molecular techniques for the detection and quantification of gene targets. Candidates will be utilizing knowledge of nucleic acid extraction, cloning, sequencing, PCR, and real-time PCR. Candidates will colaborate with research and development team members on project time-lines and progress.

Requirements BS in biology, chemistry or related science
1-2 years of industry experience in the development of molecular diagnostics or assay development.
Demonstrated experience with nucleic acid extraction, cloning, sequencing, PCR, and real-time PCR.
