Description

BODI Developer

PCR is currently seeking candidates for a contract to hire role with one of our clients in the Charlotte Metro area.  This role is for a BODI Developer who will create and support solutions for loading and management of data into the client’s data warehouse environment.  This will be a 4-6 month contract to hire position.

 

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Designs and develops ETL solutions using BusinessObjects DataIntegrator and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Writes technical design documentation (e.g. data flow diagrams, mapping documents, etc)
  • Participates in technical design sessions as a member of a project team
  • Performs research to identify source and nature of data required for ETL solutions
  • Performs testing of ETL data flows
  • Assists in troubleshooting and performance tuning of business intelligence solutions
  • All other duties as required

Requirements

BODI Developer

Minimum Required Skills:

  • 3+ years experience developing ETL solutions using BusinessObjects DataIntegrator
  • 5+ years experience in ETL and large scale Data Warehousing
  • Excellent SQL & PL/SQL skills
  • Ability to write technical design documentation

 
Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to details
