Guest Relations Specialist

Job Description:

Serve guests by helping them select the perfect vacation home, collect their payments and maintain proper records.  Serve property owners by responding to a variety of requests including but not limited to maintenance requests.

The Ocean Beach Rental Agency rents beach houses to summer vacationers.  We manage approximately 500 properties and rent to more than 4000 families each year.  We take guest reservations, process their payments and respond to questions or problems while they are on vacation.  We also work with the homeowners (answering questions about their rentals and scheduling property maintenance).  We are an energetic, fast paced, family friendly office.  The Ocean Beach Rental Agency has been family owned and operated for 60+ years.  We are looking for the right individual to join us.  Benefits are provided.
 

Duties:

• Determine guest needs.

• Assist guest in finding the perfect vacation home.

• Complete rental contract by entering identification information, and explaining rental policies and procedures.

• Process guest payments.

• Verify revenue by reconciling rental agreements with receipts.

• Work with guest when they are on vacation.  Answer any questions they may have or solve any problems that may occur at the property they are renting.

• Build a positive relationship with property owners and respond to any questions or requests they may have.

• Perform minor troubleshooting at rental property (delivering propane tanks, clean grills, troubleshoot appliance issues, etc.)

• Enhance company reputation.

   

The job is fulltime (5 days per week – 39 hours per week).  Weekends are a must.  Two consecutive days off during the week are given plus one bonus day off per month.  Must be able to perform some physical labor.  A New Jersey real estate license is required.  Job applicants need not have a license.  Training will be provided for the right person.
