Research Associate
 
Our premiere maternal and infant health and disease research group is made up of world experts dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in education and research leading to the improvement of the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders related to infant mortality.  

We are seeking a highly skilled staff member to work as part of a team providing high-level support in a fast paced, demanding environment.

The position requires an individual with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Medical Science & 6 months experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher. The position also requires: 1) 2 peer-reviewed journal publications in pre-natal diagnostics. Job duties: Conduct research to improve outcomes in pre-term labor and births. Analyze placenta, uterus, & autopsy samples, & other research tissues. Collect & analyze research data. Participate in research operations according to the Perinatology Research Branch research protocols. Publish results of research in peer-reviewed journals. Also present results of research as posters & oral presentations.
