Description:

We currently have a PRN need for an experienced Medical Social Worker for our St. Clairsville, Ohio TLC and Amedisys Home Health agency. This position requires a Masters Degree in Social Work, as well as a Licensed Social Work (LSW) certification from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board.

The Medical Social Worker assists and counsels home health patients and families with health related financial, social and emotional concerns according to the physician’s orders.

Requirements:

1. Meets state and federal requirements for this position, including a Masters Degree in Social Work, as well as a Licensed Social Work (LSW) certification from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board.

2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in social work in a health care setting.

3. Current CPR certification.

4. Personal transportation, valid drivers license and automobile insurance coverage.
