Description The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following tasks:

Cytogenetic technical procedures for analysis of metaphase spreads obtained from targeted ES cell clones
Operate and maintain instruments and initial set up of process
Assist Production Manager with implementation of new procedures
Organize work and activities to achieve maximum productivity
Maintain a safe working environment
Compliant with established polices and procedures of regulatory agencies and responds positively to necessary changes in the work place
Demonstrates the ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives and independently choose the appropriate course of action
Demonstrates effective professional skills and relationship management

Requirements A bachelors degree is required for this position. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong bio-science background as well as two years of experience in mouse cytogenetics. FISH experience a plus. Cytogenetic knowledge of slide preparation, microscopy and computer image analysis. Experience with Molecular Biology techniques preferred.
