Description

Management of the loan application, enrollment verification and student loan certification processes.
Supervise staff of two (2) Student Services Representatives.
Perform review and posting of daily sales/scheduled payment batches into Great Plains.
Provide support to Admissions Department to facilitate student enrollment process.
Monitor tracking and timely resolution of pending loan applications.
Assist admissions department in advising students of their financial obligations.
Ensure compliance with established admissions requirements.
Implement, monitor and enforce corporate financial policies and procedures.
Ensure timely tuition payments in compliance with established policies.
Monitor and research alternative funding sources.
Monitor student statuses and facilitate resolution of loan disclosure issues.
Provide customer service and answer to student inquires.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor degree or Equivalent experience
Strong organization and communication skills
Experience with Sallie Mae’s signature loan
Understanding of consumer credit
Prior supervisory experience
Knowledge of basic account receivable procedures
Excel and Word Applications
