Software Support Specialist

Our Company has a proprietary software product used by franchisees across the United States and Canada.  The software’s capabilities include estimating, invoicing, inventory management, and customer management.  We are in search of an organized, charismatic, and outgoing individual to join our team as a full time Software Support Specialist.  The well qualified individual will learn how a small business operates and how the software supports business operation.  This position will be responsible for working with other support specialists to provide our customers with software, desktop, and simple network support via telephone and live Internet connection. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software operation to resolve problems.
• Troubleshoot software errors, operating system errors, and network environment issues.
• Work with customer service group to solve software problems and process software enhancement requests.
• Maintain record of customer contact.
• Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to second level hardware support.
• Confer with staff, users, and management regarding system issues.
• Gain an understanding of small business management and franchising.

• Candidates must have a BS or BA degree (recent graduates will be considered).
• Proficient with Microsoft technology. 
• Must have a clear speaking voice.
• Ability to work well with others is a must.  
• Experience with SQL, FTP, and basic networking concepts a plus.
• This position requires flexibility in hours worked in order to meet business needs.
