TelCom has successfully completed projects of many types and sizes including outside plant management and turnkey work throughout the United States. Through the years we have worked on a multitude of projects including; RUS projects, Power Installation, Telecommunications Construction and Installation, Fiber to the Home Installation, Cable Television, Cable Reclamation, Gas Distribution, and Wind Generation Projects. We have managed many contracts at a time in various locations, both in and out-of-state, as well as turnkey projects in fiber optics and copper distribution. We have done joint trench projects with several utilities placed in a common trench, and power projects for rural and urban. We have done direct buried, splicing, wiring and installs. During 2007, TelCom Construction, Inc. added to their services the extraction and mining of cable from manhole systems nationwide

Job Description :

Our growing Telecommunications Utility Construction Company has recently been awarded a long term contract with one of the primary telecommunications providers in the US. Due to an increasing number of projects and revenue, we are seeking a Divisional Manager to be based in our Phoenix Arizona location.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

•  High Level General Operations management of multiple projects throughout the Southwestern US
• Assistance with equipment acquisitions, sales, and utilization scheduling
• Formation of positive business relationships with both current and future customers
• Supervision  and scheduling of personnel for multiple projects and locations

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications construction industry
• In depth knowledge of the Qwest Communications Operation and required procedures
• Proven ability to effectively control costs for project profitability and completion
• Demonstrated success in personnel management and retention
• Experience with Access, Nectas billing systems, Excel, Word, and other related software programs
• Ability to generate future revenues by building positive business relationships
• Willingness to travel as needed
