Fabricator

The Visual Pak Companies are a multi-million dollar group of companies providing filling, blending, contract manufacturing, fulfillment, and logistics services. Our customers include many of the largest consumer product companies in the personal care, household, automotive, and food markets. Operating over two million square feet of production and distribution centers, our plants operate around the clock, five days a week, and distribute our products across the nation, seven days a week.

We are currently seeking a Fabricator with a minimum of 5 years experience for our manufacturing facilities in Waukegan, Illinois. The open position is described as follows:   

The ideal candidate will be a well rounded candidate, with previous long term work history, with a background in machining. This candidate will have been cross trained in their previous position to run a wide variety of machines.

Job Requirements
 

·         Must be capable of machining metal and plastics

·         Experience in welding stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel 

·         Must also be capable of using sheet metal equipment

·         Must have a machine building background

·         Manufacturing experience with mechanical aptitude

·         Has basic math skills, basic computer skills  

·         Able to lift 50 pounds

·         Able to remain on feet for extended periods of time as needed for the job

·         Good vision and dexterity for detail work

·         High school diploma or equivalent
