Maintenance Manager – Pulp and Paper – Expanding Manufacturer

Salary $90,000 – 110,000 + Excellent Benefits and relocation packages

Leading paper converting facility has an immediate need for a Maintenance Manager.  This manager will lead a team of solid, stable, knowledgeable and cooperative maintenance technicians who seek guidance in transitioning from reactionary to preventive maintenance concepts focused on reducing unscheduled downtime.  To be successful in this role you should have hands on experience in Preventive Maintenance as well as implementing Preventive Maintenance programs. This Manager will be expected to train new associates within maintenance.  This individual will lead and direct the team to insure that all maintenance work is completed in a timely manner, while ensuring safety procedures are followed.  Another important role of this Manager is to promote Continuous Improvement and maintain efficient work standards. Need to be familiar with Paper Converting processes and the equipment used in Paper Converting.

Plant is located in a bedroom community adjacent to a southern major metro.

1.  BS degree in Engineering or Technology preferred but will consider experience

2.  Five or more years of maintenance experience in a Paper Converting manufacturing environment

3.  Three or more years of Supervisory / Management experience

4.  Experience implementing predictive/preventive maintenance programs

5.  Team leaderships skills – ability to lead inspire, and motivate
