Description This is a temporary position - estimated timeframe needed is approximately 4 - 5 months.

Assists in developing and maintaining corporate branding through multichannel marketing efforts including web sites, email templates and printed materials. Responsible for the creation, routing, editing, and finishing of art for ads, brochures, flyers and various other direct mail materials and electronic media. Must be able to work as part of a team. Take responsibility for on-time delivery of projects by performing the following duties:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates in offer/creative development meetings within the department, as needed. Works closely with copywriters and other dept. members in a creative team environment.

Designs and constructs layout for web sites with an emphasis on functionality and ease of use. Works closely with creative team on design and with IT team on development and implementation of the site

With assistance from the director, prioritizes own advertising and marketing assignments in relation to their profitability for the company and their urgency.

Develops creative concepts for ads and marketing pieces such as direct mail letters, self-mailers, brochures, buckslips, business reply cards, flyers, inserts, email

Works with print vendors, photographers, and other vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.

Ensures that electronic files are given to the publications by their deadlines.

Various in-house projects such as name badges, signs, flyers, etc., printed on color printer or outsourced, as schedule and budget require.

Manages projects through editing process to final approval and delivery.
Requirements Bachelor's degree; 3+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with direct mail and web design desired.

Must be willing to learn the principles of designing for direct mail and for the internet to ensure effective marketing pieces.
