Description
We are looking for a dynamic person to lead our Caregiver staff at our beautiful Wilson Commons Residential Care Apartment Complex (senior living) facility located on the southeast side of Milwaukee, near Wilson Park.
Description:
Working under the direction of the RCAC Administrator, the Nurse Manager will oversee a staff of caregivers to ensure the best possible resident care and service. Duties include staffing and scheduling, meeting with current and potential residents and family members to assess needs, monitoring medical administration, ensuring compliance with RCAC guidelines, communicating with residents' physicians, and keeping detailed records for staff and residents as mandated by state and federal regulations. Works closely with the RN, who oversees the corporate RCAC program. Other duties include completing service agreements for residents and leasing activities. This position requires some on-call work.
Compensation is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Requirements
•Qualified candidates must have a demonstrated ability to manage a care staff, multi-task, have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to apply common sense and good judgment in any situation.
•Current LPN license, MA, OT/PT or CNA Certification required. Previous experience managing a staff is a must. Experience within an assisted living environment is preferred.
