Rasmussen College is currently seeking a Campus Director for our Orland Park/Mokena, IL campus.
The Campus Director is responsible for all divisions of the Campus: budgets, cost control, building, maintenance, student services, marketing and admissions, academic leadership for local Campus, and participation in community organizations. The Campus Direct will also reinforce the vision and mission of the College at the local Campus and is accountable to the Vice President of Operations and President.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Provide direction and support to Director of Campus Operations and Academic Dean.
- Provide support for System staff, System and Management decisions.
- Report areas of concern or need for direction/ideas to System staff.
- Meet with staff weekly to establish goals/objectives-facilitate staff meetings.
- Assess Campus “climate".
- Make decisions on promotions, warnings, and terminations.
- Provide support for overall vision and mission of the College.
- Participate in and support faculty involvement in institutional governance.
- Participate in the strategic planning process.
- Collaborate and cooperate with colleagues in the achievement of departmental and institutional goals.
- Participate in departmental, program area and College meetings.
- Attend College functions.
- Represent the campus at professional meetings, conferences, and attend community functions.
- Participate in licensing and accreditation processes.
- Adhere to an open door policy.
- Provide working budget for overall Campus functions.
- Establish working budgets by category for staff.
- Establish and implement cost controls as budget requires to meet bottom line expectations.
- Audit questionnaires, evaluations, financials, F/A files, student files, and employee files.
- Follow up on areas out of compliance.
- Direct and oversee the recruitment of faculty and staff as necessary
- Assist with the financial aspects in the hiring process of faculty.
- Faculty meetings, Admissions meetings, Placement meetings, Financial Aid meetings, Advisory Board meetings, Campus meetings held by System staff, Orientation, and Commencement.
- Write newsletter articles.
- Do periodic review of students.
- Chair General Education Committee.
- Weekly reporting of all areas with the President.
- Contact with the System office staff as necessary.
- Attend and assist with the WYNCOM conferences.
- Attend meetings of community organizations.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Daily contact for support, motivation, and determination of training needs.
- Review interviews, phoning, and audio tapes.
- Maintain admissions evaluation process, measured by job description.
- Meet enrollment goal with specified guidelines.
- Meet retention goal with specified guidelines.
