The Winner Automotive Group has an rare opportunity for an experienced automotive controller. The Controller works closely with the Dealer and General Manager on matters of dealership operations and profit management, and coordinates interdepartmental relations within the dealership with the goal of achieving overall sales and profit objectives. This is accomplished by providing analytical, administrative, and financial information and by providing advice and support to departmental managers to assist them in achieving their respective departmental objectives. The Controller is responsible for and oversees all dealership accounting and bookkeeping, and, therefore, this manager must not only know proper accounting methods but also must be able to instruct his/her staff in those methods. The Controller must rely heavily on his/her staff in order to accomplish that department’s broad and important role and, accordingly, must believe in and actively promote the development of that staff.
The Controller, because of his/her ongoing profit management responsibility, has the most up to date knowledge of dealership sales, profits, and expenses. This manager works with fellow managers in planning, forecasting trends, reviewing, and revising plans on an ongoing basis.
