Description Top reputable linen company is lokking for a Linen-Room Supervisor. Potential candidate must have knowledge of hospitality linen programs to include housekeeping linens, food & beverage and banquet linens, uniforms and floor matting. Previous supervisory expereince is a must! Will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in storing linens and wearing apparel, assembling loads for drivers, and maintaining stock in linen supply establishments: Assigns duties to workers. Inventories (600-700) articles in stock, such as table linens, bed sheets, towels, and uniforms, and confers with upper management to request replacement of articles in short supply. Will count articles in loads for drivers to ensure agreement with quantity specified on load sheet. Confers with driver and with customers to resolve complaints, and to modify orders according to size, color, and type of articles specified. Interviews employees to resolve complaints and grievances. May supervise workers engaged in attaching labels and emblems, repairing, and altering linens and wearing apparel. May purchase linen supplies. Performs other duties as needed.
Must be extremely flexible with the hours.
Requirements Bi-Lingual candidates Pref.
Must have linen experience.
Exp with POSCAL, IP Alliance, and/or linen software
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
