Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome prospects to the dealership, making them feel comfortable and at ease.

• Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.

• Demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives).

• Present the features and benefits of the vehicle.

• Record and log critical information about the customer and their wants

• Communicate to sales manager the particulars about each opportunity.

• Be able to explain the different financing programs available

• Recognize and overcome objections to purchase

•Utilize the dealership’s system to follow up with unsold prospects.

•Develop new business from ones own sphere of influence.



• Attend sales meetings and training offered by the dealership and the manufacturer.

• Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.

• Study and know the products available for sale

• Be able to explain the different financing programs available

• Abide by federal and state laws governing the automotive sales industry

•Abide by all corporate and local policies.

• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager.
Requirements

Experienced Automotive Sales 2 years
Good written and communication skills
Ability to use PC to manage prospects and customers
Basic math skills
Self Starter
Reliable transportation
Work some evenings and Saturdays.

Work two Sunday's per month
Must present a professional appearance
Team player
Ability to take direction
