Content Manager

This is a 13 month contract

Duties:
Plan, coordinate, prioritize, and execute the activities necessary to process and manage Point Cloud Data, Trimble Data and GIS Change Requests to support safety-critical systems and initiatives. Understand the proper use of a Change Management Process. Perform editing and analysis activities involving LiDAR Point Cloud feature extraction, Trimble SSF and ESRI GIS data formats. Support field data collection activities from the office to maximize work efforts. Perform data maintenance tasks by utilizing ArcGIS Desktop software. Become familiar and may be required to complete and become qualified with current annual MOW Rules Qualification and comply with company policies, i.e., Equal Employment Policy, Safety Rules, applicable schedule agreements, FRA Standards and government regulations.

Qualifications:
College degree desired or a minimum of 5 years ArcGIS desktop experience in data editing with change management at the core of every function.

Must have a strong working knowledge of ArcMap 9.X editing, validation, and analysis tools.

Must have working knowledge of ESRI Products.

Familiarity of Linear Referencing systems is desired.

Experience in Point Cloud Extraction, TerraSolid\Microstation and GeoCue software technologies is a plus.
