Lofton Staffing has an immediate opening for a qualified Patient Representative in the New Orleans area.

Candidates should be able to provide quality customer service while effectively accepting and responding to customer and member inquiries regarding network referrals, application fulfillment and network education.

Requirements

Medical and Claim Terminology a must
High School Diploma
Effective verbal communication skills and ability to convey information clearly
Proficient data entry skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office
Ability to identify problem issues and determine the appropriate course of action/redirection within department guidelines required to resolve issues
Ability to resolve issues of conflict in a tactful and professional manner and to effectively diffuse irate callers
Demonstrates an understanding of healthcare/managed care industry, types of services and general business processes
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Call center experience a plus
Ability to effectively work in a fast paced environment
