Description This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Six Sigma/Lean Operations. This facility has 200 employees and is part of a U.S. owned major Multi-national corporation. The position reports to the Plant Manager and is used as a development spot for continued advancement within the company. Actually, the incumbent will be promoted at the end of this year. This company has a strong benefits package and relocation program.

You will take a lead role in the design and implementation of process improvement and cost reduction projects in the Production, Quality and Maintenance. You must have strong technical in the use of FMEA, root cause analysis, TPM, six-sigma tools, etc.

Requirements

This is a heavy manufacturing environment and experience in the Steel, Aluminum, or Glass Industry is desired. An engineering degree and formal training in "Lean" and "Six-Sigma" is also required. Qualified candidates must have 8 to 10 years experience, a strong track record and possess very strong oral and written communication skills.

You must have a proven track record in continuous improvement programs, down time reduction, process improvement.
