Systems Administrator (Tier 3 Support) - Long Term Contract Position - Pay Rate up to $45.00/hour (DOE)

• Analyze and develop solutions to daily support problems associated with the department such as computer operations, systems and programming functions, database operations, and distributed processing.
• Installs scheduled upgrades of operating systems, vendor software and ancillary support systems and provides necessary follow-up support
• Tests new hardware and software system performance, compatibility, and feasibility; recommends changes to improve performance
• Interacts with vendors and other departments on hardware and software problems, and maintenance requirements.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Well developed problem solving skills
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Examples of supported technologies are; Linux Server, NetWare 6.0/6.5 Server, Novell iPrint, Novell ZENworks, Novell eDirectory, Novell Identity Management (IDM), VMWare, Windows 2000/2003 Server, Windows Clustering, Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix Presentation Server, GroupWise 6.5/7.0, H.P. Hardware, H.P. Data Protector, Symantec Anti-virus, WSUS, Nimbus, SQL
