Put your years of experience into a future of excellence with Stanley Associates. Stanley is seeking an Applications Programmer for our Kearneysville, WV location. Actively provides technical leadership and senior software development on MAGNET classified program.   Applies in-depth application & technical experience to design and deliver complex multi-product, multi-system software implementations. The senior developer will work as part of a team, hand in hand with existing application developers to deliver production solutions for MAGNET.
 

Specific Duties:

  • Architect and develop software components for multi-security level application (unclass to TS/SCI)
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring in designing, developing and implementing best practices for enterprise software development.
  • Work with customers, stakeholders, architects and developers to define requirements and to develop and implement service oriented enterprise solutions.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to development team in enterprise system design, software engineering and architecture research and development
  • Planning and Leading technical meetings/reviews with customers and within OSC. Creating design/architecture documents and technical status reports on a regular basis to facilitate communication and effective implementation.
  • “Hands-on" development
  • Leading resolution of any escalated technical problems or issues.
  • Investigating and exploring future technologies, and maintaining a high level of knowledge in technology, systems, and industry trends.
Requirements Minimum Education Requirement and Years of Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Information Systems, Master's Degree Preferred or equivalent work
Additional Requirements:

  • This position requires minimum of an ACTIVE SECRET clearance to begin work with the ability to upgrade to a TOP SECRET/SCI within one years time
  • The individual is expected to have a thorough technical knowledge of his/her systems and be capable of executing independent and team tasks as assigned.  
  • He/she must be a team player and willing to interact with other people at all levels of the organization.  
  • 10 to 15+ years software development experience in similar areas
  • Extensive knowledge in Web software development, implementation, and system integrations
  • In-depth experience using one or more component based, object-oriented technologies (JAVA/J2EE/J2SE/J2ME, .NET) and associated development required.
  • In depth XML and related Web Services technology skills, including programmatic experience and in-depth understanding of (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, XSLT, XSD, XML data binding etc.)
  • Experience with Oracle database
  • Experience with reliable asynchronous messaging technologies.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong customer service and consultation skills
  • Ability to build teams and lead, influence and motivate others – direct and indirect reports, internal & external
