Our explosive growth has opened up an incredible opportunity for us to add a Sales Trainer. We are a dynamic, fast paced industry leader with a strong reputation for customer service.  We are looking for an individual who possesses these same qualities and can be responsible for executing all development, face-to-face, blended and distributed learning for the companies outside residential and business sales teams. The Sales Trainer will need to be solely responsible for scheduling and executing training for the corporation. This is a hands-on position where the individual will only have the resource of one additional Trainer. This position may potential grow into a position that facilitates management and other corporate training, but sales and sales training experience is a must!


Primary Responsibilities:

·         Sets up and maintains training schedules for new hires and for existing sales representatives.

·         Facilitates established and effective sales training methods, techniques, and ideas.

·         Teaches sales trainees soft skills and technical skill, including how to develop prospective customer lists.

·         Schedules and introduces presentations by internal or outside subject matter experts, motivational speakers, and sales or product specialists.

·         Reports on progress of sales trainees and personnel under guidance during training period.

·         Assists in developing new training courses associated with the introduction of new products or services.

·         Studies and develops skill in use of better teaching and training methods.

·         Ensures quality of training through effective needs assessments, design, evaluation, resource materials and reinforcement strategies.

·         Measures pre and post training performance to validate effectiveness of the training and facilitators.

·         Collaborates across departments and operating units to develop relationships within all levels of the organization.

Requirements

 

·         Experience in Sales is a must

·         4 years - Previous work experience in a medium size corporate learning environment

·         1-2 years  management or supervisory experience preferred

·         Bachelor's Degree required

·         Individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word Products; E-Learning Systems and LMS Systems 

·         Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

·         Able to work independently and as part of a global team
