Pollution Control Industries is looking for self-motivated, team orientated people to join our Environmental/Regulatory Compliance Team.
PCI has an opening for a Regulatory Compliance Auditor.
PCI is a member of the Tradebe Group, a respected member of the European industry sector for over 25 years. The Tradebe group was a pioneer in introducing thermal desorption technologies in Europe for the treatment of refinery sludge.
PCI is a leader in Environmental Management Services which owns and operates Regional Treatment Storage and Disposal Facilities and provides environmental services to Fortune 500 Companies, Universities and Government entities nationwide.
The Regulatory Compliance Auditor's essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and maintain an auditing system which ensures that all major risks associated with the use of an alternate facility are identified and evaluated on an annual basis.
- Plan and conduct audits of alternate facilities, to determine compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and site operating plans.
- Primary focus of each alternate facility will also include financial and operational risk.
- The audit will include an evaluation of the alternate facilities processing capabilities and additional service benefits.
- Prepare summary audit reports for management.
- Annually review of alternate facilities operations and records to ensure adequacy of internal controls, financial risk, compliance with federal, state and local requirements, effectiveness of operations and consistency with established laws, rules and regulations and guidelines applicable to overall compliance for the operation.
- Perform other duties which may be assigned as time or circumstances necessitates,
- Interacts effectively with all levels of site’s management and operational personnel.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science or similar area of study, and three to five years of previous experience.
Ideal Candidate Attributes
- Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience. Must have environmental experience. Auditing experience preferred.
- Experience in environmental auditing
- Working knowledge of solid & hazardous waste management is preferred
