Description Solder / Assembler

JOB DESCRIPTION:

•           Assembles electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems by performing the following duties.

•           Reads and follows work orders, interprets drawings and adheres to process requirements.

•           Crimps wires connected to printed circuit boards; routes and connects wires to individual components leads, connectors with terminals, and/or contact;

•           crimps wires to be inserted into pins in accordance with appropriate specifications and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.

•           Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as, potting, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, mechanical assembly, component preparation, wire stripping, in accordance with workmanship standards (SOP 511 Series or appropriate specifications).

•           Performs intermediate solder connections, such as, wire to wire, wire to connector, wire to PWA, and wire to component (i.e., EMI filters, inductors, etc.) in accordance with appropriate solder specifications (IPC-A-610 or relevant specifications).

•           Includes tinning of wires and components in the solder pot to meet solder requirements.

•           Candidates must complete a background check and drug screen.


Pay Rate: $9.00 - $10.00/Hour

Hours: 1st or 2nd Shift  Monday - Friday

Requirements

•           Must have Basic soldering and adhesives skills,

•           Basic Problem solving skills,

•           Ability to interpret processes and to follow instructions,

•           Good manual Dexterity skills,

•           Good dexterity with very fine,

•           Small parts for assembly, good follow through skill and good math aptitude
