Occupational Therapist
Evaluates and treats patients with cognitive, functional, occupational, physical,
psychosocial deficits which impact their abilities to successfully perform independent daily living activities. Practices according to regulatory standards and within occupational therapy scope of practice.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE:
Master's Level or Doctorate degree from accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current IN license or valid temporary license.
Completion of BLS within 60 days
EXPERIENCE:
Clinical background in Pediatric Occupational Therapy in an outpatient rehab area preferred. One year experience preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must specifically be interested in pediatric patients.
Must be flexible in patient care delivery if census dictates.
Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills.
WORK SCHEDULE:
PRN (as needed) working between 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with some weekends required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, and moving
equipment. Lifting patients, objects and/or equipment up to 75 pounds.
