Description
  • Responsible for the registration processes relating to in-patient and out-patient, and financial counseling including cashier functions.

  • Coordinates with physicians, nursing divisions, clinical and support services and patients to ensure optimum service.
  • Ensures that all staff practice excellent customer service while supporting Mission and Core Values so the utmost customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Responsible for all ER registration collections, data gathering, and account maintenance. Responsible for team building, goal setting, staff coaching and training.
  • Demonstrates understanding of relevant systems and is able to direct and manage the relevant changes and decisions affecting operations.
  • Responsible for a variety of monitoring, developing, training and reporting duties to ensure registration quality standards and high productivity are maintained.
  • Carries out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization's core values, applicable policies, procedures, and civil laws, the Corporate Responsibility Program, and adhering to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • Will supervise a team of 16 employees.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of supervision, health care registration/HMO/Insurance; customer service  experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Presentation skills. Strong problem solving, decision making, and budgeting skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • College degree is preferred but not required.
