Program Overview:
Join the ExecuSys team providing Information Technology support services for the LOSC contract at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, the historic base for man's quest for spaceflight. The LOSC contract provides operations, maintenance and engineering support to critical launch, spacecraft and ordnance facilities and support systems. Located on Florida's Space Coast, the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is the launch facility of the Department of Defense and is situated next to the Kennedy Space Center. ExecuSys, Inc. is a team partner on the multi-year LOSC contract, providing IT support for the launch and operations support systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide architecture, planning, design, implementation and operational support for the Launch Operations Support Contract (LOSC) Spaceport Information System infrastructure (including security) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The System Administrator will prepare and maintain operating procedures and associated documentation associated with system and network administration and security. Serve as technical resource to resolve issues and problems. Must be capable of leading/facilitating technical discussions, making recommendations and following through with planning and overseeing the implementation. Responsible for establishing project plans, test plans, schedules, and documentation of work results. Identify process inefficiencies and develop new policies and procedures as required. Provide customer site support for computers, peripheral equipment, software and Local Area Network.
Requirements
Skill Set Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years experience in networks, system administration (Exchange Server, Active Directory, Backup Exec, ISA Server).
Extensive experience in Windows 2003/2008 Server, LAN and WAN technologies.
Experience with Cisco network devices.
VMware experience.
Blackberry Enterprise Server experience.
Demonstrated experience working with DoD networks and systems (classified and unclassified).
Thorough understanding, to include the ability to operate and configure routers/switches, and firewalls.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Must be effective in working in an advanced technology and multi-vendor environment.
Ability to successfully work collaboratively in cross functional teams.
Must be willing to take ownership of issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
MSCE/MCSA preferred.
Educational Requirements:
BS Technical Degree in engineering or computer science.
Security Clearance:
U.S. Citizenship is required. Secret clearance preferred.
Organizational Fit:
A demonstrated ability to work well with clients and provide technical direction in a multidisciplinary team environment is essential. Must have excellent writing and oral presentation skills. Must be able to see project through to completion and work extended hours when required. Must be prompt and efficient in meeting work schedules and performance objectives.
