Description The purpose of this position is provide the highest quality customer service to customers by providing information, answering questions and performing basic technical troubleshooting and problem-solving related to the Division’s High Speed Data, Digital Phone and Cable Video services.

Requirements (Basic Requirements)High school diploma or equivalent is required. An AA/AS degree or equivalent computer technical knowledge, skills and abilities (or combinations of) is preferred. Experience in cable billing and dispatching is desired. Experience with computers, sales and marketing is preferred.

(Minimum Requirements)Skills include: the use of a personal computer, multi-line telephone, and ten-key calculator. Must possess the ability to identify, manage, solve and document problems. A working knowledge of Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape), computer operating systems (Windows 95/98/NT, XP and/or Macintosh) and e-mail (Outlook Express) is expected. A working knowledge of basic networking and routers and hubs is helpful.
