Cage Wash Supervisor

CAGEWASH SUPERVISOR Must have a high school diploma or GED  have 2 years experience working in an animal facility cagewash with 1 year of which is in a supervisory position.  AALAS certification at the ALAT preferred. Must have a working knowledge of all activities within an animal facility. A good understanding of cage wash equipment and chemicals, along with safety standards within a cage wash environment. Responsibilities include supervising daily activities of cage wash personnel, assigning work to the staff, ensuring that instructions of the facility manager are implemented, ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies and procedures are adhered to by the staff and ensuring the safety and the proper maintenance of the animal facility. Computer skills a plus specifically with Microsoft Office.

Any candidate applying to this position must have the ability to work with and around animals, and/or the ability to control any animal or latex related allergies with medication. If medication is needed, Priority One Services will require a physician’s note indicating that you are able to perform essential job functions, which include working with and around animals safely. The ability to lift 50 pounds and the disclosure of household pets may be required for certain positions. All candidates must have the ability to read, speak, and understand English.
