Vice President, Security Services



Primary Functions: 

Direct project management and financial functions for business unit. Provide high-level project management guidance to business unit personnel; involves management and oversight of budgets, contract compliance, scope of work procedures, manpower, logistics, and administrative actions. Monitor the proposal process related to program responsibility. Perform and delegate project tasks vital to the conduct of company business. To actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values.


Primary Duties:
    • Supervise all personnel within the business unit
    •  

    • Act as an outlet for customer relations; address customer needs by maintaining close contact to identify and resolve problems
    •  

    • Advise senior management team on all aspects of business unit management
    •  

    • Direct workflow within business unit with focus on work product consistency and customer requirements to ensure business unit goals are achieved or exceeded
    •  

    • Prepare accurate reports according to company, governmental, and client requirements
    •  

    • Provide bid recommendations and develop win strategy relevant to the needs of the company for project development
    •  

    • Prepare, implement and monitor business unit budget to success
    •  

    • Review information and prepare summary and final reports for use in executive decision making
    •  

    • Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of all assigned communication and correspondence
    •  

    • Perform managerial, administrative or logistical duties as may be assigned by the senior management team for various corporate entities, both internal and external, in accordance with Company policy and procedures

    Requirements
    Vice President, Security Services

     

    • Under-graduate degree in related field or combination of education and experience
    •  

    • Ten years experience in project management with progressively increased responsibility and scope
    •  

       

    • Experience in leadership positions
    •  

       

    • Ability to work outside normal work hours including weekends
    •  

       

    • Must be eligible for a DOD secret level security clearance
    •  

       

    • Ability to routinely travel away from primary work location in-excess of normal work day
    •  

       

    • Technical competence in the program
    •  

       

    • Polished verbal and written communication skills to include technical and proposal writing skills; ability to communicate company practices with senior executives, clients, employees, military leaders and government officials
    •  

       

    • Intermediate user level of computer systems: Microsoft office software (word, power point, excel, projects, outlook), Primavera Project Management Software, database and documentation control systems
    •  

       

    • Advanced knowledge of cost analysis and budget forecasting
    •  

       

    • Ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously; personnel, budgets, materials, and time
    •  

       

    • Ability to identify problems, suggest solutions and react to change with a high degree of attention to detail and foresight
    •  

       

    • Valid driver’s license
    •
