Description

Large NYC Hospital seeking a Registered Nurse - Performance Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities:

Ensure core measure compliance.
Work closely with physicians on surgical and OB areas.
Provide coordination and support of quality improvement activities and strategies for the hospital.
Projects include but are not limited to: core measure data abstraction, review and analysis; development and implementation of quality improvement strategies, incident report follow up and review, participation in Joint Commission and DPH reviews and more.
Ensure performance improvement processes

Requirements

Requirements:

RN – Registered Nurse in the State of NY
Minimum of 3 years experience in performance improvement
Experience in core measures
Must be able to manage multiple projects and work effectively with departmental chairmen, residents and other staff in implementing improvement initiatives
