Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The VP, Operations will be responsible for:
·Leading supply chain management, logistics planning, distribution and fulfillment in an extremely high growth environment;
· Managing the warehouse and operations, including institution of policies and procedures to optimize the fulfillment and operational efficiency;
·Developing and maintaining economically attractive relationships with packaging and shipping partners;
·Optimizing reverse logistics procedures and systems to minimize cost and improve turnaround times for returns/exchanges;
·Working cross-functionally with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure efficient operations and user experience;
·Working closely with CEO in budgeting and projecting operational needs;
·Setting the highest standards for performance and empower staff to achieve excellence
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal VP, Operations candidate has the following characteristics:
·Extensive experience in all areas of supply chain, logistics, distribution and fulfillment;
·Experience in both a high-growth, early stage environment and a larger, more mature business;
·Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information into concise performance indicators and recommendations and action for the company;
·Strong management skills, must have managed teams over 20+
·Outstanding communication skills;
·Ability to be build a flexible team that can adapt easily to extreme volume peaks;
·Self-sufficient, self-starter, as we are a small, but growing company.
