Description Day to Day:
  • Majority of day will be spent identifying data errors and scripting mistakes
  • Other responsibilities include generating data reports, programming database backups, maintaining recovery procedures, performance tuning, application design and debugging, creating databases and indexes, writing stored procedures using T-SQL, daily maintenance, user assistance, and troubleshoting
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on database administration/development experience in Sybase Adaptive Server
  • 5+ years experience with Sybase Transact-SQL (T-SQL) writing scripts and running and troubleshooting queries
  • Working experience with Crystal Reports 9
