Description Responsibilities:

Work with delinquent customers or customers agents to effectively execute a modification or short sale. Review complex file properties maximizing recovery on behalf of the client within a predefined timeline for the customer. Respond in a timely manner to customer requests around Modifications, Short Sales, Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure and Repayment Plans. Negotiate with customers maximizing recovery on behalf of client. Determine complex loss recovery strategies within assigned portfolio. Demonstrated ability to handle escalated issues, encouraging maximum benefit to the customer. Conduct initial interview with customer based on phone volumes. Review current financial ability, anticipate future financial ability, review loss structure within Pooling and Servicing Agreements and execute. Obtain loss approval or restructure approval from clients based on Pooling and Serving agreement of GSE and MI assignments. Loss decisions and modifications must fit defined depa   

 

 

Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum 3years mortgage banking experience and/or relevant work experience in a functional role required. Requires knowledge of Fidelity, Back in the Black and other Loan Servicing systems. Requires the ability to converse with external clients representing the company’s overall strategy and professionalism. State and regulatory guidelines met at all time including FDCPA. FCRA and all OTS requirements. Knowledge of Loan Pooling and Servicing Agreements, specifically the identification of Representations and Warrants on specific securities. Strong analytical skills and have ability to suggest ways to minimize compliance risks. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication skills in a sub-servicing and master servicing environment. Knowledge of mortgage loan systems. Sales and Retention.
