Description Responsible for the engineering planning, design, implementation, and operation of Unix and Windows Midrange computing platforms for n-Tier application architectures. Responsibilities include research and development of new technology and engineering best practices, as well as the implementation of complex and comprehensive solutions for enterprise and Line of Business applications.
Requirements
 The Facilities manger reports to the Data Center Manager. The Facilities manager oversees and manages the Site engineers shift rotation schedule.

Duties include managing the facilities in the Woodland towers and Consonus locations, managing and assisting site engineers in the racking and stacking of server equipment, SAN equipment, Networking equipment, ensuring Patch cables are run, analyze and devise a plan to manage, Server/SAN/Networking space, organize the racking and stacking, and manage the power needs.

The Facilities manager should provide infrastructure production support to level to the Sever Production teams, Server implementation teams, SAN and Networking teams.

In addition the facilities manager will act as a liaison between Client and any vendors. The person will work to ensure that all needs of the Data center are met, manage the access control into the data center, establish procedures for the same by working with the Data Center manager, ensure cleanliness of the data center, assist in supporting audit initiatives.

Technical Qualifications
• In depth knowledge of Enterprise class-Facilities management processes and procedures
• In depth understanding of Rack space management, patch cable management, Power allocation and management.
• Basic understanding of Server, SAN and Networking technologies.
• 3 to 10yrs of Facilities management experience in a large enterprise environment.
• A degree in computer science or a related field.
