Executive Director

AseraCare Hospice is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director for growing hospice agency in Selma, AL.  This position oversees the clinical and administrative operations of the agencies. The qualified candidate will possess 3 to 5 years home health management experience. Must have prior experience in budgeting, profit and loss management, billing and cash collections, reading and interpreting financial reports. Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience. Must have knowledge of the healthcare industry including state and federal regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing the highest degree of quality healthcare are essential.

• Bachelors Degree required
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ business or clinical management experience, preferably in hospice or related field
• Must have prior experience in budgeting, profit and loss management, billing and cash collections, reading and interpreting financial reports
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience
• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• RN (Licensed Registered Nurse) encouraged to apply.
