Job Responisiblities:

Under the medical supervision and standing orders of the medical director of the clinic.
Advance Practice Nurse/Certified Nurse Midwife/Certified Physician Assistant will function in accordance to guidelines provided by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and the Board of Nursing Examiners with regards to practicing in “sites serving medically underserved populations” and family planning clinics under contact with the Texas Department of Health.

Requirements

Must embrace and actively promote a total customer service orientation.
Current NP license in the State of Louisiana.
Advance Practice Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife: Approval by Board of Nurse Examiners as Advance Practice Nurse.
Physician Assistant: Approval by Board of Medical Examiners as Physician Assistant.
Eligibility for certification or certification as Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwife/Physician Assistant by the national certifying board.
Up to date CPR certification.
