Summary of Technology / Educational Sales Consultants
LiveText,
Inc. is currently seeking new Technology/ Educational Sales Consultants. LiveText is an internet-based consulting company with market leadership in college/university assessment and accreditation. LiveText has enjoyed a history of providing growth, enrichment, and success to its employees. As a Regional Sales Consultant, you will be challenged to prospect, attain, grow, and maintain a specific geographical territory within the United States.
Responsibilities of Technology / Educational Sales Consultants
The Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for generating sales leads and obtaining new clients through established, inherited, and creative mechanisms.
Clients are predominantly leaders of education communities (e.g., universities, colleges, schools).
The individual must exhibit accountability and responsibility for all potential business within the assigned geographic region.
He/she must maintain client relationships and actively document all sales information/activities in partnership with Implementation Coordinators.
The individual must also meet semester-based quota numbers and explain all variances to quota with documented plans remedying shortfalls.
He/she will also share in verbal and written form customer feedback to the appropriate internal representatives.
Additionally, the Sales Representative will provide support and online/onsite training for clients.
The individual will also attend company conferences and trade shows to network and develop business relationships with potential and current clients.
Requirements

Requirements for Technology / Educational Sales Consultants
A four-year college degree is mandatory
At least 2-4 years of experience required in sales and sales-tracking environment
Excellent verbal and written English skills
Strong communication skills suitable for a variety of interface settings
Comfortable with technology and experience with database-driven, web-based applications
Basic knowledge of contemporary educational services (i.e., services provided by universities and p-12 schools) and related educational processes
Must be detail-oriented
Experience in the technology field is a plus
