Description
Satellite Systems Design Engineer. World leader in satellite communication systems needs a Satellite Systems Design Engineer. Candidate will be the primary technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers in Latin America and the Caribbean. Candidate will be involved in all aspects of developing and implementing satellite/RF systems for a client’s television, media broadcast, internet access, and data transmission requirements.
Requirements:
· Proficiency in satellite transmission analysis and optimization
· Knowledge of digital video broadcasting via satellite
· Strong Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge and techniques
· Knowledge of terrestrial circuit provision to support video, data, and IP connectivity
· Strong knowledge of data IP networks and IP platforms
· Knowledge of VSAT network systems. Broadband IP access services and private network services for voice and data.
· Able to speak Spanish.
Candidate will perform pre-qualification technical due diligence of opportunities and bid recommendations. Will conduct link budget analysis, optimize systems design and analysis, equipment recommendation, competitive and costing analysis, proposal preparation, service activation instructions, and customer presentations

Requirements
Requirements: Experience with Coaxial and Microstrip style ferrite devices,
HFSS modeling skills. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, and RF Test equipment. Provide technical solutions in the design of ferrite junctions, primarily coax design.
BSEE or MSEE
INDUSTRY: Military, Industrial, Space, RF/Microwave Ferrite products. Design and manufacturing of Microwave Precision Time and Frequency products, IS0 9001 & AS9100
