Director, Partnership Development

 

Description

Just Marketing Inc., the global leader in motorsports marketing is seeking to fill the position of  Director, Partnership Development.  This position will work out of our corporate headquarters located in the greater Indianapolis area.

The Director, Partnership Development will be responsible for identifying potential clients and assisting in the developmental processes leading up to securing new clients. 

Initiating and driving new business relationships will be the primary focus of this position. 
The position is responsible for discovering, planning, initiating new business.   Success in this position will require the ability to aggressively penetrate into multiple industries seeking out potential business opportunities. Applicants will understand this position requires extensive travel.  This position will work a full schedule within the 8AM to 6PM business day plus routinely evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  
Education:
 

  • Bachelors Degree or commensurate agency and motorsports business development experience.

 
Personal Requirements

The preferred candidate will have 5+ years in a similar position with a proven record of success.  Agency and motorsports business development experience preferred.  The candidate must possess strong presentation and personal communications skills.

Competencies and Work Activities:

  • Provide senior level leadership within the Partnership Development department including mentoring and management responsibilities.
  • Generate sales leads and help bring proposals to closure.
  • Director level contributions and day-to-day management responsibilities for the JMI Sales Plan and department.
  • Director level leadership and contribution to the JMI Marketing and Events Plan, and specifically the integration with sales initiatives.
  • Polished presentation skills that will be honed in time to JMI Way.
  • Manage a list of provided contacts with specific accountability to deliver new business relationships and prospects.
  • Expand business opportunities for JMI with new clients and other specified motorsports, CRM-based targets.
  • Match prospects with motorsports opportunities.
  • Possess the ability for attention to detail.
