Truck Driver - Van Fleet

Roehl Transport is currently hiring Lexington, Kentucky based drivers for openings in our National Van Fleet, where you can earn $35,000 to $45,000 in your first year with Roehl (depending on years of experience).  

 

These are tractor-trailer driving positions. You need to have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License, or be able to obtain a Class A CDL. No experience is necessary, and we do have training available. 

Roehl National Van Fleet drivers average between 2,300 and 2,500 miles per week, moving freight (largely no touch and lumpers are paid at approved customers) between the 48 states and Canada.

 

National Fleets drivers are typically home 2 days after being out 10. If you stay out 11 – 17 days, you’ll be home 3 days. Stay out longer and earn up to 7 days off.

Roehl’s PMP (Practical Mileage Pay) can increase your annual income by thousands without driving more because we calculate mileage using Practical Miles instead of the old, standard HHG; Roehl pays you for more of the miles you actually drive. Roehl’s combination of mileage pay, quarterly safety and performance bonuses, and annual mileage bonuses add up to a total compensation plan.

Requirements

• Per Department of Transportation regulations you must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Commercial Driver’s License Class A.
• Fewer than 3 citations in the last 3 years.
• No DUI or any other alcohol/controlled substance related offenses in the last 10 years (in any vehicle); no more than 1/lifetime.
• All traffic violations within the last 24 months will be reviewed.
• Drivers must be willing and able to go to Canada.
• No felonies in the past 7 years; felonies over 7 years old will be reviewed.
• Pass an on-site pre-work screening evaluation of essential job functions.
• Possess a valid passport, passport card or FAST (Free And Secure Trade) Card.
